First impressions count for a lot
For anyone who missed it here is Britain's Got Talent's latest moment of freak-show genius.
It's like watching a car accident. You don't want to look but you feel compelled to.
And that's why I'm watching BGT at the moment. As soon as they get to the good bits (trading standards really should define good) when the half-decent acts perform I'll be switching off.
Half the joy of watching Simon Cowell's latest cash-cow is seeing idiots like the impressionist in the video clip making a fool of themselves, as much as you convince yourself you're actually watching it to see some snivelly sprog tell their tale of bullying and defy the odds only to come second to an overweight opera singer.
And that's exactly why as soon as you've finished reading this you'll watch the clip again...
On an aside, our impressionist friend may not sound like anyone, but he doesn't half look like Kevin Keegan before he went barmy on Sky...
