Clinique has released a new shade of lipstick just for the Kiss It Better appeal.

The appeal raises money to fund research into the causes and treatment of childhood cancer.

The lipstick is sold exclusively in House of Fraser during February and £2 will go to the appeal for each purchase.

Built to last

I am loving Clinique's Brush-On Cream Liner.

I gave it the ultimate acid test by applying it on New Year's Eve and crossing my fingers that it would still be there at midnight.

It was easy to use and didn't budge, or smudge, still looking perfect at 2am.

Clinique says a fast-drying gel incorporated allows colour to glide across the lash line and volatile silicone technology means it is long-lasting.

Whatever the science behind it all, it worked for me.

It costs £11.74 and comes in Black Honey, Deep Brown, True Black and Smoke Grey.

Clinique is cashing in on the festive party scene by launching the Party Red trend.

Party Red offers six different red lipsticks, matt and glossy, from the safer option to the more adventurous.

By keeping the rest of the face neutral with soft shades on the eyes, it's a great look to accompany that little black dress...
