All kitted out

By Colin Tattum on Apr 4, 10 08:45 AM

These are the designs Blues fans are being asked to choose from for next season's kit.

New suppliers Xtep have presented four versions, with the most radical - the shirt incorporating a white 'V' - being a nod to the club's original jersey.

After talks with Xtep, the trendy Chinese leisure, sports and footwear firm, it was decided that it would be unwise to come up with designs that were too far out for their debut offerings.

The board and manager Alex McLeish had their say on which kits should come under consideration.

The launch of the kit competition was Sunday morning, hence it going up on here at the same time. As it is, er, Blues own kit, perhaps they were always going to put in on their own website and in the match programme for today's Liverpool game?!

Exactly Mr Tattum!! Why waste column inches on this? i would love to have seen the NOTW interview with Mcleish in the mail but you have only time for stuff like this?

Kit B please. A looks too plain and D looks like we've copied Man Utd with the 'V'.

Blimey some people have got a chip on the shoulder haven't they? The NOTW interview was very good but it told me nothing new that Eck hasn't said in the Mail at various times. I don't think it's 'wasting' column inches. This is a blog, it is supposed to carry different kind of things and if you look at the others on here fair play to Tatts for actually writing them regularly rather than once every four weeks. Makes me laugh that just because a paper like NOTW discovers Blues and Eck once in a while and gives them a big show it's a 'great piece'. Truth is they don't care about Blues and don't know what goes on at St Andy's

the NOTW does not focus all of its time and attention on ONE thing!!!! therefore it is quite clear that they only 'discover' blues once in a while. Colin Tattum is paid to write about 'ONE' thing. BIRMINGHAM CITY. The NOTW knows what it needs to know and that at the moment is more than Colin Tattum.
Where in the mail does it say about Ecks love of films? Treasure of Sierra Madre?? thats right. IT DOESNT!!!
Before you start slagging publications off then look at the ones you are defending 1st
