Seeing those stats about Franck being taken off all the time and asking to come off I'm not so sure he is a worthy POY. I think a lot of people think he's out best player because they confuse 'passion', fancy flicks and a mad haircut with ability. He has made mistakes and can't last the pace and isn't consistent or reliable IMHO
Without Kevin Phillips's crucial goals this season, we'd be well outside the play-off's.
He's been the only player this season who has consistently turned nil and 1 point games, into 3 point victories.
They might as well cancel the vote now, as there's only one player who deserves it this season!

Andy, Superkev's not the only player, its true what you say about the goals, especially in the later parts of a game but there are others. Cars for instance has been very good at breaking the opposition down and protecting the backs,true his passing can at times be astray but.. Queudrue does put effort into the game as well, lots of it wheras others may or may not. I voted for Maik as I think he has earned us more points than any other single player with his agility. Can't kick ? No one's perfect.

Worked hard,played out of position, chased lost causes,generally improved.
Kevin Phillips has done oklay, what you would expect him to do. He's certainly not the stand out player. Taylor, Carsley or Ridgewell for me, all consistent, regulars and make the team tick
